We're a small, contemporary capoeira group located in Brigham City, Utah, USA. We have a high energy, a passion for the art, and a greater passion for passing it on to others.
We love having new students and invite guests to come along with our current students. If you're here to observe, participate, or get a feel for this fantastic style, we're happy to have you.
Professor Papai Noel leads this group and has been a practicing capoeirista for eight years. He has studied martial arts for twelve years and after discovering capoeira, his heart belonged to it. He is glad to offer assistance and guidance where the students need it and is always available to answer questions regarding technique, the style, the system under which this group operates, and general questions.
The name "Vida Nômade" comes from a literal translation of "Nomadic Life." It comes from our practice of teaching capoeira in free seminars outdoors during the summer months, as well as our regular class indoors in a studio. Due to the harsh temperatures during the winter months, these seminars are only held during summer. Starting in September and continuing until May, there are two classes per week taught in the studio.
